Our Story

Based in Annaghdown in the County of Galway, we are a passionate hurling family. Making hurls is in our blood and history.

Our ash is sourced from sustainable woodlands across Galway and the West, where the soil and seasons give the timber its strength and flex. We season every plank naturally for up to two years, so when it meets your hand, it’s ready for the game.

Jason O'Dea

Jason took over control of business from his father in 2014, and has been crucial in O'Dea hurls becoming a more recognised brand across the country. Jason is a trained carpenter so his woodworking experience is invaluable to our business.

Glenn has been working alongside his uncle Jason for the past 6 years, but has spent his summers here since he was 14! Glenns enthusiasm for hurling is infectious and attention to detail is unmatched.
